Favorite Summer Travel Gear for Families

The idea a family vacation sounds relaxing and pleasant until you remember how many things you will need to pack for the kids. It can be daunting. It helps when I think through our vacation days and what would help us out the most. Will the kids need to nap on the beach? Do you like to listen to music? Do you have a toddler who is still in the “I eat sand and need to be contained most of the time” phase?

Here are some of our tried and true travel gear for families! These items are mostly for the beach and fold up nicely! Our favorites are the portable fan for the stroller and naps, the placemat that catches all the food when your infant/toddler eats, and the portable fold up playpen (Jackson still fit’s in it and we will have him nap in it when we go to Hawaii).
